 I would observe and think during the first hours. And  after i'll have understood that i can do nothing with it or i should do nothing - well, then i don't know what will come to my mind.

If i'm alone on the board - i'd call to my son and tell him that he is the best person in the world for me.  I'll be ok soon and don't worry about me, I love you and your father. 
Something like that, i suppose. 
But i'm not sure i'll be able to say a word in such a situation.
